Mornings begin with mark making exercises in reference to the South Downs using ink and dip pens, graphite and pencil. From here we explore colour and experiment with different tools and applications of paint. I will show examples of my work and process and you are then free to make concertina booklets, smaller studies on paper or push these ideas further with your own projects. By the end of the day you will have a small body of work and ideas to develop further.
There is something deeply restorative about giving yourself the space and time to develop a single idea and this can have long reaching benefits. Rest restore renew |
